The Baker County Sheriff's Office has implemented a Special Response Team which can immediately respond to crisis situations and immediate calls for additional man power, the members are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All members have received specialized training in firearms, chemical munitions, building entry and crowd control. The Special Response Team also executes search and arrest warrants where violence may occur. The Special Response Team consists of volunteer members.
